 (Rock)  Click to play an mp3 sample. The Perish is a Hard Hitting Solid Rock Band, with outstanding live shows, and two hot albums under their belt so far. The Perish originally started in 1997 with three friends just writing songs together. Jeff Noyes was the singer and guitarist, and had a burning desire to continue with the band after the other two members went on to other things.
The band evolved into a full time act with 7 days per week rehearsals and gigging. The band took on Drummer Bruce Graham in 2004 and Bruce brought a powerful new sound to the band with his unique beats. Jeff Noyes continues to front the vocals, with both drummer Bruce Graham, and Bass player Devon Pichè both doing backing vocals. Jeff Noyes is also the guitar player in the band.
Devon Pichè joined the band in 2007 in a mysterious manner. Jeff Noyes while waiting to find a bass player to gig with that could handle the new sound, took on a part time job at the local music store teaching guitar and repairing guitars. Jeff was working on a bass for repair on a quite Sunday, when a tall young guy walked into the music store and asked if his bass was “done”.
Jeff told Devon that it would be finished in a few minutes so Devon Pichè walked over to the wall of guitars and grabbed one off the wall. After about three minutes of Devon hammering out some bass riffs in the store, Jeff Noyes was very impressed and asked…
“Are you in a band ? What are you doing next Sunday ?”
and the rest is history !
The band took on a powerful new sound that could only be described as “Alien Rock” So the band started to use alien faces on posters and album covers as a theme, and it REALLY caught on ! People really liked the new sound and the first album was a big hit. This second album is even more powerful and is now being released through Delinquent Records.
